Animated map templates are excellent additions to any video sequence and can really add a little extra to the overall presentation. Regardless of skill level, you can utilize templates, customize and really explore new ways of animating and presenting maps. Flight Maps

Flight Maps makes it quite simple to create 2D animations. Wholesale line sheet examples. With built in regional pre-animated templates & color themes, you can really customize and then take design a bit further with effects such as texture. The added effects can really help to create and achieve that dynamism you’re looking for.

Map Connector

Map Connector gives us a great way to show metadata or more information about different locations however it’s not good at connecting two different cities. Unlike Flight Maps, there are no templates, however you can still customize color, position, and timing.

Place On Earth

This particular map template can be great if you are looking to visualize just one place on a 3D globe. You can customize the location and position on the map and then give a visual effect to the place that you’re wanting to point out. The template is decent however you may want to prepare yourself as the render time can be quite long due to the 3D animations.

World Map Toolkit (Premiere Pro)

World Map Toolkit is the only option for map animations in Premiere Pro. Originally created in After Effects and then used in Premiere Pro as a .MOGRT file, you would make your edits within Premiere Pro. When using in Premiere Pro, the extreme delay will be quite obvious during the editing process. Until this option is optimized within Premiere Pro, you may have better luck using After Effects instead.

Drag the glow effects directly into your timeline. Right click the effects and select “Scale to Frame Size” (if needed), then change the Blend Mode to Screen or Linear Dodge (Add).

Turn on your keyframes for Position, Scale, and Rotation. Use these keyframes by adjusting their position, size, and orientation to track the movement of your glow animation effect; this allows you to move the effect along any path that you think looks good with your footage. (In this video clip, we move the blue glow animation effect down the dancer’s leg, then move the pink glow animation effect up the arm of another performer.)

Can You Animate In Premiere Pro

To change the color of any of these effects, navigate to Video Effects → Color Correction → Color Balance (HLS) and adjust the Hue and Saturation sliders as desired. You can even create a color-changing effect by keyframing the Hue at the beginning of the clip. Scroll to the end of the clip, add another keyframe, and change the color.
